Benevolence Fund Partners
Recognizing
the value of and need for professional counseling
in the lives of their congregants, several area
pastors formed the Center for Psychological and
Family Services (CPFS) in 1993. A non-profit fund,
known as the Foundation or Benevolence Fund, was
also created at that time to aid in the mission
of CPFS. Partner churches pay a percentage of
their overall yearly budget into the fund. The
fund helps make reduced-fee therapy available
to individual patients, couples and families who
have financial need.
Individual donors also support the fund with their tax deductible donations. If you have been helped by the Center or are interested in making a contribution to its mission, you may contact Steve Bennett, Director.
